Picture 06 - Wroxham, from Bridge.

WROXHAM, FROM BRIDGE. The reaches of the Bure to Wroxham Bridge are lovely in the extreme, while the shape of the Broad is peculiarly adapted for sailing purposes. It is no uncommon sight to see thirty or forty yachts moored here at one time; whilst few places can excel it for revictualling or replenishing of failing stores. Early in the morning is the time dedicated by male members of yachting parties for indulging in a swim. Added to the many charms hereabout, a lovely view over the Bure and surrounding country may be had from Wroxham Church, which should be visited, its Norman doorway, stained glass windows, etc., being extremely interesting.
